As a regular on comp.lang.java.programmer, I find that a lot of similar questions come up. I also find that most of the suggestions I would offer are provided in a book, along with additional information that would be useful to someone on the topic. Rather than plagerize or rewrite the whole book, I refer someone to that book. My aim here is to provide enough information to help you decide that a book is the right book for you.
